Stephen A. Smith appeared on FOX News with Sean Hannity on Monday night to discuss Ray Rice. The clip starts with Hannity telling Stephen A. that it was such a shame that ESPN “shut you down.” (Stephen A. was suspended for a week over the summer following his comments on domestic violence.) This apparently will discourage people from talking about domestic violence. Hannity and Smith then agreed that Ray and Janay Rice are now married. Here’s Stephen A.:

"“I’m not an expert. I can’t speak on that because you’re going to have a lot of people within the domestic violence community that will tell you there’s a bevy of reasons as to why a woman would have that happen would turn around and marry somebody like that. That’s their personal relationship. I’m not even qualified to speak on that. But I do know this. Today, Ray Rice suffers, but also, Ray Rice’s family suffers.”"

This goes towards Janay Rice’s statement today. They also discuss Ray Rice’s future in the NFL as compared to what Michael Vick went through to get back in the league.
