Rob Bironas had a blood alcohol level of .218 according to a toxicology report, as reported from Jim Wyatt of the Tenneseean. The legal limit in Tennessee is .08. The report also identified that a low level of Valium was present, though the “medical examiner reported it would have had a ‘negligible effect’ on Bironas’ body.

Sadly, this fits with some of the descriptions that emerged after that fateful night. Bironas was reported to have threatened some teenagers and was reported missing and tried to run another vehicle off the road near his house.
